 The Sounds Of Success Community Marching Band is a year-round traveling performance unit open to students in elementary, middle, and high school up to age 21.

This program serves as the foundation of our organization and includes:

• Woodwind instruments
• Brass instruments
• Traditional drumline
• Auxiliary team (dance, majorette, flag, and color guard)

The marching band is our main performance and travel ensemble, participating in:

• Parades and community events
• Battle of the Bands competitions
• Special guest appearances
• Performances in West Palm Beach, across Florida, Georgia, and Tallahassee events.

This program is designed to build discipline, performance excellence, and leadership while preparing students for college scholarship opportunities through music and performance.

Monthly Fee: $25 per student (additional $10 per additional child)
Aftercare transportation available for an additional fee

 The Concert Band is a musical performance and training ensemble focused on classical and concert-style repertoire.

This program is designed to strengthen students’:

• Musical reading skills
• Tone quality and technique
• Ensemble performance ability
• Overall musicianship

The Concert Band performs primarily locally with one annual out-of-town performance to Tallahassee.

This ensemble is ideal for students who want to advance musically while preparing for higher-level performance opportunities and scholarships.

Season begins January 2027 and continues through the school year.

Monthly Fee: $25 per student (same structure as marching band)
Aftercare transportation available for an additional fee

 The Sounds Of Success Dance Department is led under the direction of Mr. Dominique Derraco-Franklin in partnership with All and Nothing Dancers.

This program provides professional training in:

• Traditional marching band dance
• Jazz
• Ballet
• Hip-hop
• Contemporary movement

Dancers have the opportunity to:

• Perform with the marching band for selected events
• Participate in independent dance showcases
• Travel locally and out of town for performances.

This department develops confidence, stage presence, discipline, and teamwork while exposing students to professional-level choreography and performance experiences.

Monthly Fee: $50 per student
Aftercare transportation available for an additional fee

 The Sounds Of Success Piano Program is a newly introduced academic music course designed for both youth and adult learners.

Registration begins in October, with classes officially starting in January 2027.

Classes are held:

Tuesdays & Thursdays

This program helps students develop:

• Music reading skills
• Hand coordination and technique
• Ear training and rhythm development
• Music theory understanding
• Confidence in solo performance.

Piano instruction is one of the most powerful foundations in music education because it strengthens overall musicianship across all instruments and disciplines. Students in this program gain skills that support success in marching band, concert band, and future college-level music opportunities.

Monthly Fee: $100 per student

 The Sounds Of Success Drumline is a high-energy percussion program open to students in elementary, middle, and high school.

This program includes:

• Traditional marching drumline
• Snare, bass, tenor, and cymbals
• Performance technique and rhythm training

The drumline performs:

• With the marching band during the full season
• At independent drumline competitions
• At festivals and special events.

Students in this program develop discipline, timing, teamwork, and leadership while building strong performance skills in both group and competitive settings.

Monthly Fee: $25 per student (additional $10 per child)
Aftercare transportation available for an additional fee

 The Sounds Of Success Summer Program is operated in partnership with the Palm Beach County Summer Camp of the Arts and runs from:

June 1 – July 31

We operate two locations:

Riviera Beach Preparatory Academy

Weekly Fee: $75

Somerset Academy Lakes (SLAM)

Weekly Fee: $150

Both locations include:

• Breakfast and lunch provided daily
• Weekly field trips
• Safe supervised environment.

Summer Program Activities Include:

• Marching Band training
• Drumline
• Athletics (football, basketball, soccer)
• Dance (ballet, jazz, hip-hop)
• Cosmetology basics
• Arts & crafts

This summer experience gives students the opportunity to stay active, creative, and engaged while continuing their educational and artistic growth during the break.
